Delivered by Manu Bazzano
There are Codes of Ethics and there is Radical Ethics; the latter does not always coincide with the former but emerges as situational embodied response to the presence of another. You could transgress a rule and be ethical. You can follow a Code and be unethical. Radical ethics is another name for hospitality and the work of a therapist that of a host.
Who is a good host? One who understands deeply that she is a guest on Earth. What do we really mean when we say ‘welcome’? Welcome to my territory? Or ‘you and I are both guests – of psyche, of this transient space of mutual healing’?
At the workshop we will explore radical ethics through experiential exercises and discussion.
